What is Gem Galaxies?

Gem Galaxies is a passion project created and developed by Koyariix.Whilst the Gem Galaxies community server unfortunately no longer hosts them, we function as a place for players to chat about a mutual love for Koy's art and roleplaying on the game.This doesn't mean the server's unofficial! We keep frequent communication with the game's developer to make sure we respect their project and its fanbase - as well as the official staff team operating through the server.

Server Hierarchy

Overseers
A fusion of everything below. Overseers are the server's owners and managers.Administrators
Overseers' 'henchmen' of sorts. Capable of banning users and helping in team organization where Overseers aren't needed.Moderators
Your standard moderators. Enforcing in-game and server rules.Junior Moderator
Similar to moderators, focusing more on keeping the community connected.Collaborator
The bridge between the community team and developer, also capable of bans.Trial Staff
Members chosen from the community this era, testing the waters with moderation.Social Media Manager
Keeping us connected through various social medias.Helpers
Helpers assist Staff where requested! They do not moderate, and this role has since been retired.Server Boosters
These people get access to the usage of external emojis by nitro-boosting the server.Former Staff + Helpers
These members used to work with us! They have since been retired, and wear the role as a badge.Players
Your good old standard player.Newcomers
These users are new to the server and won't have access to image posting for 48 hours.

Rules Overview

Gem Galaxies follows a 'warn > kick > ban' system! Based on how many warnings you receive you may be subject to further action. This can be skipped in severe cases such as raiding, NSFW content shared, endangering minors, etc - Where instant bans will be handed out.You can find the server's rules in #rules, with individual channel rules being located in their pinned messages! Server Etiquette

Etiquette is something we as a server do not enforce. It's a matter of being mindful within the community; listening because you'd like to make others comfortable rather than being forced to do so.You can do our community members a favor by:
- Spoiling common triggers brought up (needles, spiders, etc)
We ask you don't spoil healed scars! They aren't something people can control.- Don't assume people are your friends
This is a community space, and being friendly is somewhat expected. They're still strangers though!- Along with what's listed above, do not assume staff are your friends
It's our jobs to be friendly to you! Don't mistake us being nice as an invitation to disrespect our boundaries- Avoid bringing up removed game content
Yes, we know there were gems and locations removed! As does everyone else - and if you didn't, you do now! We ask they aren't brought up due to the people involved, and wanting to respect the creators' wishes to distance themselves from the game.You can see removed content hereThis content is slowly being replaced. We'd actually really appreciate some positive noise about the revamped stuff!- Remember that people's characters are loved
Some people may not be comfortable with people making romantic comments towards their characters or artwork. Treat people's ocs respectfully too!

Banned Topics

The Gem Galaxies Server has quite a few 'blacklisted' topics that we do not allow discussion or posting of. Our vague outline or rule for this is any piece of media that cannot be discussed properly without bringing up a topic that Gem Galaxies would already have banned (NSFW content, extreme gore, drug use, etc).For the sake of ease, we've listed a few of the more 'common' banned topics in another carrd which you can view here. It can also be found in the FAQ channel.
